Sendai city, Japan

I am from Sendai the capital city of

Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. It is the
largest city in the Tōhoku Region.

Despite being an urban city, there
           are abundance of nature because

of that it also called as the City

of Trees and it is one the reason
why I really like the city. There is

Aoba castle is located in the city,

which one of the national historic
monument in Japan. It was built by

           a legendary warrior and leader

Date Masamune who is a very
           important historical figure in

sendai and he is mascot character
           of the city as well.
The city is famous for Gyūtan and
                                                        Zundamochi, a japanese food made

from grilled beef tongue and mochi

                                                        balls with sweet, bright green
                                                        edamame paste. The most famous

festival in Sendai is Tanabata, which
attracts more than 2 million visitors

every year and is the largest

                                                        Tanabata Festival in Japan. Unlike
the other festivals in Japan, it is

                                                        relatively quiet because its main

                                                        attraction is intricate tanabata
                                                        decorations.
